Fall Book Fair
Book Fair dates: October 31- November 7 
Shopping hours: 9:15-3:00- Students will be shopping during their scheduled library times. 
Special Shopping Days:
Family Night- Thurs., Nov. 1st from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Muffins for Moms- Mon., Nov. 5th from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
Donuts for Dads- Tues., Nov. 6th from 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m. 
Goodies for Grands- Wed., Nov. 7th form 8:30 a.m.-9:30 a.m.
Dress Up Days:
Mon., Nov. 5th- Magival Monday: Dress up as your favorite book character
Tues., Nov. 6th- Night Owls: Wear pajamas
Wed., Nov. 7th- Lions, Tigers, & Bears, Oh my!: Wear animal print


Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your child’s reading habits.


If you are unable to attend the Fair in person, we invite you to visit our online Book Fair at Our Online Fair is available from October 25 to November 9.

2018 Veterans Day Assembly
NES Veterans Day Assembly will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2018. There will be a reception for Veterans before the assembly at 12:00 p.m. in the NES library. Attached below are RSVP forms and photo/memorabilia request information.

The Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Public Safety launched the SaferOH tip line that will accept both calls and texts 24 hours a day for schools that register for the service.  
Calls or texts to 844-SaferOH (844-723-3764) are answered by analysts in the Ohio Homeland Security’s Threat Assessment and Prevention (TAP) Unit.
