The Northwest Board of Education met for their Regular Meeting on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Northwest High School Media Center. The Board conducted the following business:
-Passed a resolution to approve the minutes of the Regular meeting on March 19, 2013.
-Passed a resolution to approve reports.
-Passed a resolution to employ substitute teachers for the 2012-2013 school year.
-Passed a resolution to accept retirement notice of classified personnel.
-Passed a resolution to authorize renewal of classified contracts for the 2013-2014 school year.
-Passed a resolution to authorize renewal of certified contracts for the 2013-2014 school year.
-Passed a resolution to approve list of Northwest High School candidates for graduation.
-Passed a resolution to approve volunteers for the remainder of the 2012-2013 school year.
-Passed a resolution to employ supplemental personnel.
-Passed a resolution to amend classified contract.
-Passed a resolution to approve school calendar for the 2013-2014 school year.
-Passed a resolution to amend Personal Aide Service Agreement contract with South Central Ohio ESC.
-Passed a resolution to adopt revisions of board policies.
The next regular board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 6:00 pm in the Northwest High School Media Center.
The Northwest Board of Education regularly meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Northwest High School Media Center at 914 Mohawk Drive, McDermott, Ohio. The schedule is tentative and from time to time special meetings may be required. The location of special meetings will be determined on an as needed basis.
