4th Annual Cole's Pit Crew

Cole's Pit Crew 4th Annual Volleyball Tournament will be held on March 7th at Northwest High School. Last year, approximately $6000 was raised with donatations made  to Make-a-Wish Foundation, American Cancer society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, CCHMC, as well as the Jonathon King family.

This event was started several years ago after Tracy and Michael Adkins son, Cole, was diagnosed with Ph+ T-Cell ALL.  He went through nearly 4 years of treatment and still frequents doctors regularly.  Cole's family, friends and community were so supportive during the lengthy struggle and they wanted to give back.  Therefore, Cole's Pit Crew was founded and they all work together to make a difference.  Cole's mother, Tracy Adkins said "I am happy to say that as of May last year, he is now considered CANCER FREE!!!"

So this year, they want to make the volleyball tournament extra special by raising even more money to help more people.  Please take a moment to read over the flier and consider getting a team together.  If you are unable to play, it's a great time to come and watch the events. We will also be raffling tickets to an OSU football game in September, a Cincinnati Reds game, picture package for Impressive Studios and a helicopter ride.  (Winner of the helicopter ride will be able to enjoy the ride that very same day, weather permitting).

Cole and his crew are challenging you to organize a team of your coworkers.  Northwest Elementary has been in it in the past.  So gather your friends and get ready for some good fun for a good cause.
