Exciting news – The Steven A Hunter Hope Fund is up for a Walmart grant and you can help us win!

As part of their Fighting Hunger Together initiative, Walmart is giving out $3 million in grants for the most innovative and effective programs that help alleviate child hunger. The Steven A Hunter Hope Fund is in the running to win one of 100 grants, but we need your help to win!

The more votes we can get, the better chance we have of winning a $20,000 grant from Walmart. The funds will be used to support Steven’s Power Pack Club which provides weekend meals for almost 500 hungry children in 9 different school districts right here in Scioto County.

The 3rd Nine Weeks Good Behavior Activity will take place on Wednesday, March 27th at 1:00 pm in the NMS Gymnasium.

Northwest Middle School students and staff will be collecting spare change for blood cancer patients. Fliers have been sent home with students explaining the fundraiser. Money collection will begin Monday, March 25, and continue through Friday, April 5, 2013. Send your spare change to NMS to help fight cancer!
