Sports Cancellations and Updates

With the recent school closing and cancellations, parents can keep up-to-date with sports cancellations and make-up games. The Northwest Athletic Department is utilizing Remind 101 to communicate athletic cancellations and rescheduled events for both the high school and the middle school sports programs.

Simply download the Remind 101 app on your smartphone or tablet and then subscribe.  To get the Northwest Athletic info, subscribe to @northwesta.

Also, sports cancellations and delays will also be Tweeted by Mr. Burton @MrBurtonsOffice on Twitter.

Teens for Jeans

The Northwest High School chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is collecting jeans for the "Jeans for Teens" clothing drive, sponsored by Aeropostale, through February 6th. If you would like to donate new or used jeans to benefit homeless teens, please drop off by February 6th at any of the following locations:

  • Northwest High School
  • Northwest Middle School
  • Christ Community Church

NMS District Honors Band

The following 7th and 8th grade students have been chosen for the District Honors Band, and will be performing at The University of Rio Grande on Saturday, December 6th. Congratulations to those who have been chosen!
