Host Lose The Most Northwest PRIDE
Team, for Red Ribbon Week, will be passing out informational flyers
to parents. Often alcohol is involved in teenage parties. Parents
think that hosting their teenager's parties in the home will keep
them out of trouble. What parents don't understand is that you can

NHS - Excellent Rating
Congratulations
students and staff on earning an
" E x c e l l e n t " rating on the statewide report
card issued by the Ohio Department of Education. Mr. Scarberry
promised a Kings Island Trip to this year's junior class that
passed 4 or 5 parts of the O.G.T. last Spring. The trip was Friday,
August 21.

Mills Qualifies For Regional Cross Country
Congratulaions to Emillie Mills. This past
Saturday Emillie placed 16th at the district Cross Country meet
qualifying her to go to regionals on Saturday, October 31.
NHS - School of Promise
Mr. Jenkins, Superintendent of Northwest
Local Schools, would like to congratulate the high school on being
recognized as a "School of Promise" by the Ohio Department
of Education. Northwest was one of 134 schools recognized for
high achievement in reading and mathematics. (Official

Lady Mohawks
The lady mohawks end their season
as sectional champs defeating Hunington-Ross, congratulations
to Coach Bayes, Coach Moos and the Lady Mohawks for the great
